Today i watched wonderful performances by my students. They are gooooooood man!

Taxi

Today i felt a sharp pain in my heart. TAXI fares so expensive. I can buy 1 week of lunch with the $$$ i spend on cab today :(

HaPpy ^^ Moments

Today i finally experienced some sort of satisfaction in working so hard. My first photoshoot with my class. It is sort of touching. Everyone is so excited about taking the photo. Makes me feel so proud of them :) haha

Hectic Day!

- 2 colleagues on MC today.
One down with throat infection (UAR), One contracted Shingles (Pam)

- 1 colleague so stressed with work that i think she is going to be sick soon (Irene Jia you!)

- 1 colleague is very happy that her boy scored well in her test! (catwoman)

- Phototaking begins today! Everything is fine until it started to rain.

This marks the start of my hectic day.

I had to run all over the place, looking for alternative venue for phototaking.

I ran all over the place but in vain.

In the end, I have no choice but to choose the study area.

I ran to take tape to fence up the area, prohbiting others to use.

I ran to take extension cord to power up the lamp.

I ran to return extension cord as its too short.

I ran to borrow another longer extension cord.

I ran and ran today.

What is my profession? A technician of course!

Meetings

Meetings are boring. Say after me, B-O-R-I-N-G.

Especially when you are still sleepy, hungry, dying to go toilet, air-con is freezing cold... and the last thing you want to do is to sit there and listen to someone.

Meetings are also non-constructive. You waste electricity, waste brain cells and most of all, waste time!

I hate Meetings!

Tiredness is becoming more and more frequently. How? I wanted to do some work just now, but i fell asleep. Argh!!!!!!!!!! No time No time.. i feel a headache coming... or i am getting sick soon? Nooooooooo......

Head very heavy now... feel so groggy.

Then i received a call from a friend.

She ask me... gal...did we choose the correct profession?

She seemed drained out, tired and demolarised.
Hey gal, i admired your strength and courage! Don't despair, things will get better.

I like to look on the bright side, or i forced myself to think on the bright side. "Willed" urself to think positive. haha :0

We are experiencing hardships now so that we can enjoy the rewards later.
We are feeling demolarised now so that we can challenge ourself work harder.
I understand the lack of energy, I understand the frustration.

What we can do is to self heal (LOL).
BUY BUY BUY (LOL)
OR write BLOG to vent frustrations.
OR Have a really good and long bath, + mask, + treatment
OR lets just imagine a break in dec (bangkok/taiwan) to perk us up :)

Scenario 1

Ah Gong goes through test to see if he has lung cancer. (He may not survive the procedure due to old age)

Scenario 2

Ah Gong (if get better) goes home or back to normal ward. Inject morphine to reduce pain. (Till he die)

Scenario 3

Ah Gong condition may worsen and if it happens, we have to make a decision:

Option 1: Transfer to ICU, put him on life substaining machines. (machine becomes his heart)
Option 2: Let him die, inject morphine during last stage

What would u do? I will definitely go for quality instead of quantity.

Ah gong and Ah ma's marriage was pre-arrange my their parents.

Both of them have no choice.

I guess love or feelings develop over time.

Ah gong has 7 children.

He is 85 years old now.

He used to smoke heavily, but stop when he was about 60+.

He is very healthy, never once admitted into hospital.

He speaks hokkien to me, although my replies are usually limited.

I can't remember his favourite food or music, as such i never spent much time with him.

He usually sits in his favourite chair and watch us play from afar.

When my father passed away, ah gong is at the wake.

His mind was not clear always so i wonder whether he knew what happened.

He recognised me occasionally.

Today as i called him "ah gong", I saw him making an effort to open his eyes.

Still, i guess he is in pain (too much calcium in his blood)

I just wish he don't suffer much.

Recently, My good friend's mum passed away.

Then, bad news from my aunt, my ah gong was admitted to hospital.

He couldn't walk, talk, eat.
He seem to be in pain, and trembling.
His hands and feet are cold.
When I called him, he seem to make an effort to respond, but we are losing him...

Doc said, the calcium and potassium level in his blood is too high. They are doing their best.

All we can do now is to wait and pray.

If he cannot get well, I hope at least he don't suffer too much.

Habit

Mmm... a friend of mine inspired me to start this blog. I find myself writing this quite frequently now... haha.

Its actually quite stress releasing to blog.

I find myself getting busier everyday. Really wanted to have a good rest, chill out with friends near the sea, have a drink... feel the breeze, enjoy the chit-chatting... wa when will this dream come true?

I want a break from SINGAPORE! I want to go on a HOLIDAY!

No $ No Talk... so i can only write. lol ^^

Today is the last day of wake.

With Chanting and praying.
The paper house was burned.

Tomorrow will be the hardest day for her.

I feel sad...

My Thoughts

Recently, my dear friend's mother pass away. She was 54, the same age as my father when he passed away. I could feel her grief too as i attend the wake.

Her mother was a very charitable, friendly and outgoing person. I loved to eat her "lor ar shun gua" black soy duck with bamboo shoot. She will usually prepare that when we go over to her house during lunar chinese new year.

My friend is a very fillal daughter. I hope she will be brave and support her father now that her mother had pass on. She keeps saying, " thanks for coming". Hai..... there's no need to say such things to old friends like us.

Auntie... dun worry, your daughter is a responsible, sensible and good girl, so dun worry about anything, bless her and the whole family. RIP.

Think i better go to bed now... ~_~
