All I do today is WAIT WAIT WAIT!!!

In the morning, invigilation cum toilet I/C duties.

In the afternoon, wait and wait and wait for "exercise". My head is so giddy with sleepy spells!

I can't do anything constructive!!!!! "ARGH!!!!!!!!!!"

weekend

I am currently waiting for my nail polish and face mask to dry.
Mmm.. its nice to rejuvienate myself after a long tiring week.

The only missing thing is exercise. Can't seem to bring myself to start as i am still in "nua" mode.

This weekend i been to the same place twice for dinner. The newly opened food republic in WISMA.

(+)points
- the foodcourt has some really nice seats by the window where you can look out and there is quite a nice view of orchard road.
- push-carts selling drinks and dim sum going around, quite interesting.
- traditional theme decoration, quite refreshing to experience it
- food? There is some new stalls, worth a try.

(-) points
- too crowded (maybe its weekend)
- expensive food!! I had mee goreng today ($3.5) which i can also get at $1.50 in school.
- Around some corners, the food trays are cleared and placed on the floor, quite unsightly, for a moment i tot i entered a rubbish dump!! (HOPE TO SEE IMPROVEMENT IN CLEARING OF TABLES AND TRAYS TO MORE APPROPRIATE PLACE!)

Conclusion? 4(+) vs 3(-) = +1 (still worth a try!) :)

A Great Fall

Today, i had a great fall in a bus.

It happened when the bus was turning and the driver step on the brake a little too hard.

I was holding the hand grip when it suddenly give way and i fall all the way down and hit my bum hard on the floor.

So MAlu! Ai Rain and Ai Mei Li was with me then...

Pain......... ah

Tired Eyes

My eyes are tired.

Announcement

I am proud to announce that my desk is neater now after 3 days of effort.

Thanks to my two good friends (Teochew Beauty and Ah Mao) who drop by to give me some encouragement.

I will continue to work on the filing.

My Desk

Today i spend almost 3 hr trying to tidy up my work area but in vain. Still as "LUAN" as ever. Hai... why?

Neatiness is in the eye of the beholder. lol

Ticks

My eye lid is so heavy now, i have to take a break... the marking is tiring me...

No Mamee to eat... luckily for me there is still "totally tomato" Twisties!

Soon, i have to go back to my marking again.

Heart Pain

There is a new makan place in town! Takashimaya basement.

Mmmm.. yummy yummy HongKong style food.

Long queue at the entrance.
Many people inside.
Seems like a really nice place to eat.

I went in happily with my darling,ordered some of the dishes they highly recommended with enthusiasm,waited with anticipation,
beef horfun ($6.50), beef noodle ($5.00), Special Fish ball ($6.00)
we were rewarded with:

1) salty food (too much NaCl)
2) Oil!!!! (too too too oily, the horfun is drenched in O I L !
3) beef that don't taste like beef (somewhat taste like meat)
4) 6 fish ball that smells, and cost $6 bucks.

Total bill: $40 for a meal that is definitely not worth it.
It was worst than a meal in a hawker center.

They gave us $5 voucher to use when we patronise again.
I gave it away in symphathy to those who are still queuing outside,
at least, when they realise how terrible the food is, they still $5 voucher to ease a little pain. >_<

morning...

What? Wake up at 7am on a sunday? Me siao liao.
I am tired but dunno why, i wake up once at 4am, forced myself to go back to sleep, wake up at 7am again. Still as tired as ever.

sigh...

There nothing much to do in the morning.

I tried to play Maple, but it was down, one of the file is corrupted and i have to spend I think 2 hours to download the Full game client again... NOT MY DAY!

I have extra duties later too.

I am going to eat breakfast with mum at the market soon.

Last Night Prayers

Today, as i held the incense stick while kneeling down, many thoughts came into my mind. Memories they were. About my father.

My thoughts were interupted constantly as i tried to remain as still, as devoted as the chanting continues.

1) Remember the moth? It came back and flew above us.
2) My cousin was moving here and there more concerned about little flies on the floor and on his clothes than staying quiet and composed.
3) Some were chatting.
4) My uncle was taking photographs.

I saw the incense stick burning away.
Glowing brighter as the wind blows.
I saw the paper house burning away.
With all of us, holding hands, asking Ah Gong to live BIG HOUSE.

Tomorrow, we will bade our final farewell.

Today i knew something.

My Ah Gong is not my Great-Ah-Ma's real son.
He was adopted/pickup into the family as the there is no male descendants.
Which means, I am not my Great-Ah-Ma's real Great grand-daughter.

Who were my real ancestors?
I have no idea, and never will.

Moth + incense + Mosquito

Today my Ah Gong passed away and my father came to pay his respect in the form of a moth (as claimed by my mother).

It started out as a normal day.
I was on my way to work when my HP rings.
Mother called to ask me to go home as we Ah Gong passed away.
We took a cab to the hospital to take a last look at Ah Gong.
I went to the police station with uncle to report the death.
We went back to Ah ma's place to get ready for the praying rituals.
To ask Ah Gong to "COME HOME"
My task after that was to make sure the incense paper were burned, and the incense stick doesnt run out. I did these till i am very tired as in the afternoon, there is no one to relief me. Everyone seemed to disappear home to rest.
Even my two spoilt sisters went home to bathe and rest.

Who accompany me then?
Moth and Mosquito.
Stangely, the Moth stayed above the coffin for the whole afternoon.
While the mosquito feast on me.

My Sunday

YTD i had crabs at Uncle Leong Seafood @Ang Mo Kio Street 22, Blk 233.

It was delicious. Their famous Golden Sand crab and Crab beehoon.... yummy!!!

It was a 4 gals and 1 guy outing. Tasting it speaks a thousand words. FOr now, look at the pics and drool...

Case of the missing fish feed

Alamak! Who stole the fish feed in the office??

I couldn't find it when i need it to feed the hungry fishes the day b4.

Longstar says he is so hungry that he had eaten it. Me and Teochew beauty began to search high and low for it. We concluded that the one who could have taken it must rear fishes too. Alas, it is nowhere to be seen... I am getting desperate as the fishes must be v.hungry. WK help too but also couldnt find it. In the end, we fed the fishes with WK's feed.

Longstar keep saying he eaten it. =D

The mystery was solved the next day. Lady ST from another department took it. LOL

The fishes were fine now, and they will live happily forever until they run out of food.
