Clarke Quay

My sat night was quite special... Clarke Quay... has changed!

With colourful lights luminating the skys,
With music and laughter in the air,
With pleasant sounds of people eating, chatting...
Mmm... Clarke Quay has changed!

The new Clarke Quay is happening, with new resturants/pubs and cafes.

The Gang arrived at about 9pm... all not very hungry (or actually quite hungry)
We went to a new pub resturant highly recommended by Shan. There are cute little rocking chairs outside the pub... nice.

We ordered a very expensive platter of kebah $35, It was the most overpriced meal... but we are hungry, cant seem to stop with just drinks and muffins. Thus we ordered chicken wing and chicken skewers, each cost $18 separately. What an indulgence!

After meal, we proceed to walk-take photo-walk-figuring where to go. We pondered over options like Newton Hokkien Mee (suggested by Shan), Rocher beancurd (latte gal and MeeC-min), Geylang beancurd/Orh-Ah-Mee-Suan (Uncle SK) and finally we decided to go to the nearest place, settler's cafe (suggested by ME)

We make a big detour to the place man... so by the time we reached there, we are hungry again. However, most of us have the mentality of "i rather die of hunger than obesity" in mind, so we only ordered a small plate of SOTONG BALLS, despite my attempts of trying to get them order a platter of most sinfully fried food, with an assortment of fries,chicken wings, sotong balls etc GUESS what happen? The poor sotong balls were devoured within minutes!

We played quite some games in the cafe, as we changed game quite frenquently... The most amazing thing is that we have to explain HOW TO PLAY HEARTATTACK to lattegal. Her memory failed her when we tried to explain to her how the game go. I thought this game is basically the most basic game we knew in sec sch... ALAS she only remember the murderer game. LOL___________LOL

We played for about 1 hr...and the time we spend most on was JENGA. Old game, but still as fun. Next time maybe I shall go for other games... if we have more time.
