migrane

so cold... it has been raining on and off today...

i feel a little unwell, migrane...since sat.

i shivered in cold after i came back from extra duties... went to sleep for a while with close windows and blanket. it was a restless sleep, just like sat night... thats y i get migrane...

flashback from the movie i saw on sat kept haunting my mind...
bloody scenes are not for me
i keep seeing blood dripping out from bodies, knives slashing people, heart ripped right out of the body... brain spurting blood etc

whats the point of watching a bloody movie? is it a good movie since i can rem it vividly?

M-18 movie not suitable for me
NC-16 movie i guess i should avoid too... hahaha

so... i hope tonight i can have a better rest...

21 Jan 07, 8pm, Singapore Indoor Stadium

Rain! concert. A very memorable night for me. I did not bring any camera as i knew i wont be able to take much cos i will be busy screaming. This photo was taken b4 the concert started. Rain was a very impressive performer. You can feel his passion for music and dancing when he is on stage. He performs with heart felt sincerity and a lot of efforts.

My seat was the cheapest of the lot, however, this is my 2 cents worth of support! :D

my sis 21st bday

my sis 21st bday took place last sat.

she spend many days planning ahead, pouring through quotations from website, gathering ideas to plan a perfect bday bash. She has buffet+bbq+balloons decoration, sign boards, powerpoint invitation, huge barbie doll cake all planned early.

The venue was a ulu place along selegie... many guest have a hard time trying to get there. The taxi uncle have to browse through the street directory b4 knowing exactly where i want to go.

Things that went wrong:

1. It was drizzling when i get there at ard 7pm.
2. No drinks, no food was ready as the buffet caterer was late. (poor service)
3. The bbq was in process, but v slow...
4. Charcoal ran out in the middle
5. Drinks ran out in the middle
6. Cake which was supposed to be delivered ard 8+ didnt arrive and we waited till 10pm.

Guest started leaving... my sis was angry and disappointed... well her freiends wee young and inexperienced in foreseeing such and there are no contigency plans...

me and unle sk decided to find a cake b4 all the guest left... we walk the whole stretch of selegie road... only hagendiaz sells cakes in whole... we tried starbucks, cafe cartell, coffee club, pasta dunno what...etc

what a tiring night... but at least there is a cake to cut on my sis 21st bday.

What happened to the barbie doll cake? I found out the shop had misplaced the order! However, the boss compensated us the price of both cakes and offered to bake the same cake for my sis... this appeased my sis... if the cake arrives tmr.. haha

beauty sleep

i slept at 1o3opm the day before.
i slept at 93opm ytd... so tired.
i am going to sleep at 1o3opm today cos the 1 hr make no difference... i am still yawning.

fatigue fatigue go away!

i guess its not the no of hours i sleep. its the time that i wake up...

i see many nokias broke down ytd....

i try not to cry with the sad, as i think this way, they will be even more sad.
i try to encourage, as i think this way, they will recover faster.
i try to offer positive alternatives, as i think they will eventually get there.

i see many lobsters today... cos many of my colleagues went out rowing ytd. dont understimate the power of sunblock lotion.

JiMee is very red today... every piece of skin he exposed is red. i guess he will peel soon, exfoiliating heh...

the red lobster gang includes ah xian, but she reassured us there is no way she will be red for long as she has immunity against dark skin... now i think she is snow white!!! and she has 7 dwarfs who meows in her house... heh

olive claimed that he looks like red pig, i will see if this is true tml as he hide at home today, hopefully not chau da.

my keyboard is spoiling... i cant type some of the letters... so troubesome. k back to work...

zero zero 女强人啊

wa today tons of work dropped on me! siao!! brain overloading.

i called zero zero today. she has found a job! congratulations!!!!

it is not easy for a great mother who hasnt work for 4 years to start one, moreover still need to juggle between work and family. 女强人啊!

for the curious latte gal and gang, she will be starting her first day tmr, working as a sales executive, got car and phone allowance... lets hope she has a fantastic 1st day!

I ate sushi tei, nice fish hot pot.

Javier has arrived on the 11/1/07

Teochew beauty, yan dao sng, bright pearl, yx and i visited her. she was breast feeding when we reach! hehe

Javier is a cute little bundle of joy. we took pics/videos of him, carry him. pls ask me to show u the video if u see me.

I guess Javier may recognise my voice, cos throughout the 9 months of pregnancy, i have been reguarly taking to him as i talk to the great mother salad. we laughed together, wondering what is he doing inside, touching him/tickling him... etc maybe thats why he smiles at me!!!!

Rain

Rain is coming soon! 21st of Jan :D

It will be a fantastic concert!

I will be attending his concert with 2 other colleagues, we bought the $188 ticket... This is the first time i spend so much on a concert. I am going to buy his concert merchandise too!!! heh heh cant wait man!

IKEA

Oh ya, before i go to work, something came up in my mind...不吐不快!

Over the weekends, i visited the new IKEA situated in Tampines. As usual, the whole building is swarmed with people. Me and Uncle SK decided to check out the FOOD there and we ate $1 hotdog bun. Tall tables was provided for us to have our snack... The delicious and cheap hot dog bun is nice and the stall was buzzing with sales. Now, what i feel strongly is, we should clear our waste/rubbish after eating. After all, its only a paper that came with the bun and which we hold it in our hand while we eat plus a drink in a paper cup. We should just throw everything into the bin after finishing the food. What i witnessed was some people simply left these on the tables!!! DISGRACE! SHAME ON THEM!

I hope not to see these type of things happening again... sadden me.

It is really true man... this week is really hectic for me... i have survived halfway. way to go!

I am lazy. I need stress to push me to work. lolz
However, i seemed to like the adrenaline rush during the short time and the hardwork that i put in... almost last minute.

There are things that i need to and i keep putting off ... eventually i will do it when i need it.
There are things that i dont need to do, but i will do it first because it is easier.
There are things that i want to do, but i cant.
There are things that i dont wish to do, but i need to do it.

This apply to everyone i know ba.

Updating the blog is something that i dont really do consistently especially when i have all the time to do it during holidays. It will become more constant now when i am busy everyday. aiyo... i guess when i feel more stressed, i blog more...

Now i have to go back to work :( feels so sleepy!

I guess i need all the luck to survive next week...

My Girl

My girl was one of the most enjoyable and hilarious korean drama i have seen. A must SEE for all! Ah li will be wondering whether i am saying the truth... it is watched and proved to be very very funny by olive, meec-min and me!

Unfortunately, i dun have the show, it was lend to me by olive... One of my most treasured moment in the holidays is to watch this show.

Smiling Pasta

This is a nice taiwanese drama by Zhang Dong Liang (Nicholas) and Cyndi Wang. I liked Nich's smile! He is dashing with his smile plus nice songs from him in the show :)

I will be passing this VCD to MeeC-min... and slowly to the rest who are interested! However, if you hate taiwan drama... then you will not appreciate it.

How nice is it? erm... not as funny as My Girl (korean drama).

2007

I had high tea at Goodwood park on the very first day of 2007. It was a nice gathering with my galfrens. We wanted to start the new year with a good meal! The food was better than usual, of cos the price was more expensive. We went for the local high tea, there were snow crabs, oyster, crayfish, scallops, steam fish, veal (which is meat from young cows, as shown in picture, delicious and tender!)

Only a tiny disappointment that there is no chocolate icecream! Chocolate icecream is essential in every buffet! Its womens' favourite so i was surprise Goodwood park did not prepare CHOCOLATE icecream!!!!

Now its time to prepare 2007 resolution. However, i am thinking, why bother when i only see it once a year?

The one and only aim is to survive 2007 without dying.

Goodbye 2006, Hi 2007

I end my 2006 with a good meal at suntec city, a korean resturant with good service and yummy bbq. Then me and uncle sk pampered ourselves with movie "confession of pain" whereby i get to feast on Takashi Kaneshiro and Tony Leung.

A little drama occured after watching the show, i had to get rid of all toxic accumulated before welcoming 2007. heh heh, so i was off fighting a battle in toilet.

Next we proceed to watch the fireworks display at esplanade.... it was S.P.E.C.T.U.L.A.R we initially wanted to go with Ah li and Des, they flew pigeons at us/chicken out/tuan(3) us.

Anyway i didnt really think they have the courage/youth/energy to face the crowd. What a waste for them.

The firworks displayed started at 12 midnight, and i was clicking away, hoping to capture some nice fireworks photos... people around us were clapping, cheering and memerised by the bright colourful lights. Soon, the display ended after 10 mins... and we proceed home.

My getting home was tedious, unenjoyable and tiring. Uncle SK is lucky to board a bus around 1230am and reach home at 1 plus. I waited for bus till 1 plus and reach home ard 3am!! Congested esplande drive caused all these.
