King of all CRABS!

Today i ate Alaska King Crab. It is $130/kg. We ate a 3.3kg crab... 7 people. Total bill came up to ard 600+. The crab cost $400+

This place is @ 91 Defu Lane, Seafood Paradise... really the name of the place sounds as good as the food. You have to reserved for a crab if you want one. The place in an industrial estate... is quite ulu for me.

The pic shown is only less than half of the crab. it is heavenly. We use a scissors to cut the shell on the legs of the crab, and pull out the meat... see pic with me holding a big piece of meat.



I think i am holdin about $20 worth of crab... yummy!!! mama mia!



The claws of the crab is very hard, uncle sk had a hard time cutting it open. It was soon in his stomach.

Well this is truly a sensational eating experience for me!

Review of 2007 resolution, Setting 2008 resolution

Its time for year end review of my 2007 resolution... which i dont even remember. The good thing with blog is, you can search thro archive and read what it is... my 2007 resolution is

"The one and only aim is to survive 2007 without dying."

The dying part is not actually dying... its about my work survial in 2007 as its the first time i take my nokia thro life and death.

Well... i have done it havent i? The only thing is to wait if the nokias turns out fine.

What is going to my resolution for 2008? Mmmm... i

want to cut a few kilos, go either hokkaido or NZ, stay healthy and happy.

christmas 07

Christmas 2007... its all about food for me


I spent christmas eve at Mr and Mrs Maks' house, together with her family and their baby lucas. Poor Mr and Mrs Mak, i guess they cannot enjoy as thoroughly as us as lucas simply refused to sleep cos we are making ourselves merry. The food was nice, cooked by auntie... i liked the curry, ham and the mash potato thingy. We played cashless monopoly after that... and chris bf got busted. Some went to play mj with Auntie and all were finished swiftly.

Christmas day, my gals friends drop by my house. My mum homemade chinese meal was served, together with ice-creams and monopoly, which i got busted. Oh i have yet to edit the pictures for Ling... busy busy

Boxing day, i went to my colleague's house for lunch and evening i went to eve place for dinner. Oh my the dinner fare was good. There are roast chicken, ham, pasta, alad, cheese platter with crackers, tiramisu and brownie...this eve really knows how to cook. I loved the cheese with crackers and the brownie best. Especially the brownie, as she spreads a layer of nutella on top... yummy!!!!! We also drank 1 bottle of white and red wine and champagne. Its a really good day!

korea... in my memory

hi there... i have been so nua since i came back from korea.. so i never update my blog at all!

now i cant really recall much...some interesting stuffs i want to record down in my blog so that when i am old, i get to revisit these stories...

1. Korean color for weddings- white, funeral-red. exact opposite of what chinese like.
2. Korean upholds there own image v well. They dressed to kill.
3. Korean rice i like! its unlike what we have here. The rice there is softer and easy to eat.
4. There are over 200+ types of kimchi... all i ever eat b4 is the cabbage one here.
5. I experienced a hot spring in my birthday suit! It was an eye and mind opening experience. With temperature of 0 to -5 degree cel... u dipped urself into an open air hot spring... shiok!
6. Black pig is delicious.
7. Tangerine skin are thinner when they face away from the sun, and the smaller and rounder they are, the sweeter they will be.
8. Best Ginseng in korea are grown for 6 years and they are identified by the number of leaves they have.
9. Its nice to eat ice-cream in the winter, you can find huge ice-cream cone in mingdong, korea orchard road for $1.50
10. Ja Jiang Mein is delicious! and cheapest in chinese restuarant.
11. Loved the seaweeds there... bought 2 cartons back.
12. Didnt get to see Rain... oni saw him on tv... hai
13. I had a nice tour guide... very friendly and reliable!

busy busy

i am so greedy... i need to do all/most of my favourite things today b4 i fly.

Things to do: watch korean drama, watch anime, play pangya, surf net... etc

oh ya.. plus taking an afternoon nap!

countdown

i am flying off at 2am later... yeah... finally get to experience winter... dun kw whether i will like it. Anyway... i got tons of stuff to do when i get back and extra duties will commence. A lot of
work to do too... so i am not looking forward to that at all.

I packed my luggage ytd night... so tiring to pack man. Camera equipments are darn heavy... hope i get some nice pics!

A new beginning is coming... soon 2008.

Hope Mee-C min will not be a hamster anymore. A hamster can only run in a never ending ring. Hope she can look ahead and make the first step into a brighter road.

Hope Lattegal can find her prince charming soon.
